Be Forgiving of Other People's Mistakes

OH JUST SHAKE HANDS ALREADY!

You don't need to hold on to your pride. Sometimes, to get things clear, you just need to forgive, forget, and move on.

Don't Abuse Your Power

STOP ABUSIVE POWERS!

You may be "famous" in any kind of social networking sites, but you must remember this. It's just fame, not power. Sure fame can make you powerful but in just a little amount of time. And if you still got your power, don't abuse it. People will start hating you for it.

Respect Other People's Privacy

PRIVATE PROPERTY!

TRESPASSING IS NOT ALLOWED.

Imagine this, your everyday life is known by somebody. It seems that he wants/needs to know everything about you. Suffocating, isn't it? RESPECT. Respect is what we need. Everybody has their own spaces for their own.

Help Keep Flame Wars Under Control

WARNING: FLAME WAR AHEAD!

Flame wars are little fights only-- well, sometimes big. There are times that we encounter these kind of stuff. If so, don't just ignore it and NEVER JOIN THEM! Instead, let the people calm down.(I really don't know what to do)

Share Expert Knowledge

SHARE YOUR BLESSINGS!!

When you know something, don't brag about it. Instead, go to a site that centers that certain topic and share your knowledge. If people ask, don't be shy to answer them. You're an expert with it, right? Then show them.

Make Yourself Look Good Online

Be GOOD =))

Social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter are open to the public-- its users I mean. In Facebook, you have friends-- may it be a thousand or not-- meaning they can see what you've been doing online. They may or may not know you personally but what you do online lets them make impressions of you. So please be good.

Respect Other People's Time and Bandwidth

Time is Gold

Time is GOLD. Never expect everyone to be always online. Never expect them to always reply to your messages. They have time for that. For now, you should just do your own business and wait for that person to have time for you.

Awe.. Seenzoned =(

Know Where You Are in Cyberspace

You're Not The Only One

You're not the only one. You're not the only one in Cyberspace. You are not its center of attention, so don't start posting stuff and expecting for everyone to like it or comment, okay? They have their own businesses and you have your own.

Remember The Human

Remember the Human

Even though you're kilometers apart from someone, it doesn't mean you can just tag or send a message to that someone. Remember that he/she is only human. They have their limits. You, you're a human, right? And you don't want a random person to tag you in a random post, right? You don't want to get involved especially when you don't even know what he/she's posting about. You have friends that interpret little things wrong. That would be a mess!!

Netiquette

What is netiquette?

Net+etiquette=netiquette

That explains almost everything. Netiquette as taught by Sir Tom, is a set of rules to be followed online. It helps us to behave "politely" (sorry. I ran out of words)in social networking sites such that of Facebook and Twitter. We don't want to violate any rule, do we?

These are the set of rules for us to follow.

Rule #1 Remember the human.

Rule #2 Behave online as you do in real life.

Rule #3 Know where you are in cyberspace.

Rule #4 Respect other people's time and bandwidth.

Rule #5 Make yourself look good online.

Rule #6 Share expert knowledge.

Rule #7 Help keep flame wars under control.

Rule #8 Respect other people's privacy.

Rule #9 Don't abuse your power.

Rule #10 Be forgiving of other people's mistakes.

Will I Pass?

I'm sorry Sir if I didn't actually put our lessons here (just what like Surara and Cardino did). I just wanted to speed things up. I was kinda busy, sorry Sir. :/ But Sir! I had fun in making this! I promise! I even made Cardino go to my place to help me with this xD. I also got to remember the happenings during my first quarter on Computer Science.. One whole quarter enjoying the aircon. Hahah. Kidding aside, I had a good start, hope I can end it good-- or even better!

I hope this project of mine will reach your standards. Will I pass?

Jokes?!

"Masarap ang prutas at gulay______"

What?? Anong connect nun? I mumbled as I look down on my paper. Another blank answer.

"The clue made it harder for me to answer!"

"What? Akala ko tama na ang answer ko!"

"Hala! Ang layo ng clue sa answer ko!"

I hear some of my classmates muttered.

*Checking time*

"The answer is data compression" the clue's too far out!

"Didn't you get the joke?" Sir asked.

"It's Masarap ang prutas at gulay COMPRESSION (pronounced as "kung fresh yun")" all I did was facepalm and wonder why I had the coolest Comp. Sci. teacher ever (not that I had the subject Computer Science. Peace Sir! ^^V)

I Passed!

6 out of 10.. not bad

21 out of 25.. rad!

I passed! Giggles start coming out of my mouth! It was unexpected! Knowing that I was depending on stock knowledge.. hihih :3 <insert giggle here>

Flat One?

Flat uno..

Flat one..

Flat tire..

..or anything that you want to call it.

I've been listening attentively while Sir Tom's discussion. I want to make "bawi" or make it up. Will I make it? Of course I will! If I finish this project. LOL.

Lag Pa More

"Hala! Paano na ito?!" I panicked as I move the cursor of the mouse all around the screen.

LAG! HANG!

One of the problems I had during the first period. The computer I've been using was lagging all day long! I've been repeating my work for three times! THREE TIMES I tell you! Add my time limit problem and bam! Good bye grade of flat one..

Time Limit?!

5..

Oh my gosh.

4..

My heart starts beating faster..

3..

I'm nervous...

2..

Can I do this?

1..

BAM! You can't submit your output anymore!

Time limits... It helps me panic whenever the deadline comes near. Sometimes I even ask myself, can I submit it on time?

I nearly had an heart attack when I saw the screen say "Successfully submitted".

Thank Goodness.

Why I Love the Subject Computer Science

"Comp. Sci. na guys!" that's what I usually hear from my classmates by the time around 12:00 nn Tuesday to Friday.

Yes! Comp. Sci. na! May AC na naman!! Hihihih...

The Air Conditioner, one of the reasons why I love Comp. Sci.-- specifically the Comp. Lab. It's cool in there and all. It lets me escape the scorching heat of the sun.

<insert aircon here>

GO STOCK KNOWLEDGE!!

Quizzes..
Long Tests..

I passed them all because of what we call "stock knowledge". Yup, I never actually study my notes (I don't even have notes-- wait, I don't even bring my notebook during our Comp. Sci. period!) Hihih.. Nothing personal Sir Tom :3 Love yah!

Okay.. I still have seven more posts to post!

What I Thought

I Thought....

I thought the subject Computer Science was that easy—Just a piece of cake! But nooo!! It wasn’t! Akala ko lang yun.
I remember our first discussion with Sir Tom on the very first week of the school year. We had our lesson in our classroom.
“Ms. Boboyo”, I was shocked when Sir Tom called my last name while he was looking at the teacher’s desk wherein the list of our names in the class was listed.
Why Me? I wanted to ask the teacher in front of me.
But of course, I can’t do anything, I stood up.
“What is ICT?” ,Sir asked as he looks at me.
“Uhm... Ehh...” What the heck should I tell him? I have no idea about this ICT!
“It stands for Information Communication Technology”, I said as I remembered what I just read on the paper pinned on our bulletin board.
“I know it stands for ‘Information Communication Technology’ but give me an example of it”, Facebook! Twitter! Yes! That’s the answer!
“The computer, Sir”, I facepalmed inside my head. What the fudge?!
“Are you sure?”, he asked with that doubtful look. No Sir! I’m not sure! I wanted to answer.
I just nodded my head. I was embarrassed knowing that someone’s watching me from outside of our  room. “Ano ba ‘to ang bobo sa Comp. Sci. ICT na lang ‘di pa alam”, maybe he said that mentally during that time.
“Oh, Mr. Naldo, what’s your answer?” I looked at my classmate, Emil and waited for his answer.
Facebook and Twitter, Sir” he answered.
“Very good” I frowned knowing that I lost the chance to give Sir Tom a good impression.

Well, my fingers are already tired because of typing so I guess this is... THE END.

Sir Tom Made Us Do This

As what the title of this post said, Sir Tom made us-- the Dia and Sapphire people do this blog stuff. It's for our project in Computer Science. It's not that I'm blaming Sir Tom (I love you Sir! <3 xD) or anything but I just want to warn you ALL about this.

WARNING:
THE MOST RANDOM IDEAS ARE COMING ON YOUR WAY. PREPARE FOR THE PROCEEDING POSTS >:D
